7. Life with CGM

7.1 Can I take shower or bath when I wear a CGM?

The i3 CGM System are water resistant (level IP27), which means you can take shower, but not allowed to take bath or swimming, or sauna or jacuzzi.

 

7.2 Can I use i3 CGM during an MRI, CT scan or diathermy treatment?

Don’t wear i3 CGM (sensor, transmitter) for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT) scan, or high-frequency electrical heat (diathermy) treatment.
CGM might NOT be in those situations. The magnetic fields and heat could damage the components, which may cause it to malfunction. Without readings or alarm/alert notifications, you might miss a severe low or high glucose event.

 

7.3 What is i3 CGM system storage conditions?

Temperature: 2℃-25 ℃
Relative humidity: 15%-85%

 

7.4 What is i3 CGM system working conditions?

Temperature: 10℃-40℃
Relative humidity: 15%-85%

 

7.5 Does it affect CGM if I take some medicine when I wear CGM?

Taking Paracetamol can make measured datas higher than normal. After taking Paracetamol,you should aways check BG.

 

7.6 Can I go through the safty-check in Airport?

Yes.
